Aurora is the biggest single piece of our service area, and it is genuinely two markets in one city. East and southeast Aurora — Southlands, Tallyn's Reach, Saddle Rock, Murphy Creek — is newer construction with three-car garages and clean, relatively young slabs that coat beautifully. West Aurora, out toward Colfax and the older neighborhoods inside I-225, is mid-century housing with slabs that have been through decades of Colorado winters.

The subdivisions along E-470 were built with the garage as a real room: three bays, high ceilings, often a service door and windows. Those are the floors people most want finished, and they are the easiest to do well because the concrete is sound and relatively young.
A full-broadcast flake system is what most of these garages get — texture underfoot for winter slush, and a blend that hides the grit that comes off a car all season. Where there are windows or the door stands open a lot, we top coat with polyaspartic so the finish does not amber in Colorado sun.
The housing stock inside I-225 and around the Buckley area is older, which means the slab conversation is a real one. Decades of freeze-thaw, ice melt, and in a lot of cases an old vehicle that leaked, so we spend more of the job on prep: grinding, chasing cracks, filling spalls and treating oil before the first coat.
